Pupkewitz Holdings Head Office

The historic warehouses in Lazarett Street, Windhoek,  the first of Pupkewitz Hardware facilities, were chosen as the ideal site for the new Pupkewitz Holdings Head Offices.

The overall look and feel of the interior design was built around the beautifully aged character of the three primary sheds with exposed wooden trusses, raw concrete floors and bagged plastered walls – a perfect canvas for a rustic interior. To allow visual and physical connection to the exterior elements, voids were punched through the roof and surface beds creating landscaping cores and light silos in each wing of the previously enclosed warehouse. Pieces of the existing trusses were re-purposed for the main boardroom ceiling.
